Cherry Philippines is expanding its presence in Bali’s most exclusive destinations—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung—and we’re looking for a talented Junior Sommelier to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience with our meticulously curated wine selection.

With a strong focus on detail and a deep appreciation for the art of wine, you’ll work closely with our chefs and other hospitality staff to create the perfect pairing for each dish. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with industry experts, helping to elevate our guests' dining experience to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in selecting and managing our wine inventory, ensuring we have the finest and most diverse selection available.
• Provide exceptional wine service to our guests, educating them on our wine offerings and helping them make informed choices.
• Collaborate with our chefs to create the perfect wine pairings for each dish, enhancing the overall dining experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the wine industry, attending relevant events and workshops.
• Maintain a clean and organized wine cellar, ensuring our inventory is well-stocked and properly stored.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members, helping to build a strong team culture.
• Contribute to the development of our wine education programs, creating engaging and informative content for our guests.
• Participate in the planning and execution of special wine-related events and tastings.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Kualifikasi & Syarat:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a sommelier or wine-related role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and pairings, with a passion for the art of wine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate guests.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
• Valid certification in wine service or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience working in Bali or another tropical destination is a bonus.
